At MacAllan & Berg we have a significant number of achievements behind us and hopefully an even bigger number of great accomplishments ahead of us.
2024
Marking our 20th anniversary, 2 of our existing clients have extended their contractual relationship with MacAllan & Berg. Our continued support to our existing clients have seen fraud cases resolved and a wide range of long pending Account Receivable issues being closed and settlement received.
We are currently in discussions with 4 new customers and look forward to soon onboarding them into the partner portfolio.
2023
MacAllan & Berg started the year well with renewing 3 contracts. Later on in the year we added 2 entirely new customers - one customer experienced trouble collecting their debt from a specific debtor running into USD millions, and the other customer had experienced a fraudulent scheme.
2022
We have enhanced and re-branded our 'Blacklisted Operators service' into the 'Red Notice list'. The main focus remains to maintain a directory of the Bad Payers in the Wholesale Telecoms Industry, thereby enabling clients to not make the mistake of doing business with the wrong market actors.
MacAllan & Berg also completed a multi-year, multi-operator project for one of the worlds largest telecommunications groups. The project saw USD tens of millions being resolved, spanning all types of inter-operator issues.
2021
MacAllan & Berg added several new clients in addition to several extensions of an existing contracts. Overall, it was one of our most successful years, that also saw us resolve a 3 year old fraud case for one of the most esteemed Asian Mobile Operators.
2020
MacAllan & Berg continues to grow its market and have since beginning of the new decade assisted in resolving a long pending Group IOT dispute covering 7 mobile operators and a large USDm figure. Additionally, 11 new mobile operators have come onboard as clients with both roaming, interconnect and fraud related debts.
2019
In the last month of 2018 MacAllan & Berg signed a frame agreement with one of the largest Tier 1 telecom operator groups across African, and is now in the process with operationalizing this with the first OpCo's. In addition hereto, other new telco's have chosen MacAllan & Berg to assist with recovering international wholesale telecoms debt.
2018
MacAllan & Berg adds several new telecom service providers as clients and extends contracts with multiple existing clients for both new projects and for forward flow maintenance of debt levels.
2017
One of the largest groups of Operators worldwide signs with MacAllan & Berg for a combined Interconnect and Roaming debt collection project covering more than 15 individual mobile operators. Other clients resign for new periods and MacAllan & Berg now covers a market reach servicing clients from the Far East Asia to the Americas and many countries in between.
2016
MacAllan & Berg signs one of the most renowned and biggest mobile operators in Asia and adds another client in South America.
2015
MacAllan & Berg sees all long term contracts renewed for additional collections work. New clients is also added to the client portfolio.
2014
MacAllan & Berg further expands into African and Asian markets by adding tier 1 and tier 2 mobile operators as clients in South Africa, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia.
2013
MacAllan & Berg contracts operators from two of the top5 worldwide mobile operator groups for collection services. Singapore market presence is added.
2012
Captus is rebranded as MacAllan & Berg. Dubai office is opened.
2011
Captus continues its success by adding new clients in all regions worldwide and by year end more than 35 Mobile Operators have utilized the services of Captus since its incorporation.
2010
Entering into a new decade, Captus is close to having assisted Mobile Operators in the collection of $100 million in overdue roaming amounts.
2009
Captus launches Fraud Mediation Services for Mobile Operators impacted by fraud traffic on their network. Captus negotiates a settlement on a multi-million dollar fraud case on behalf of a group of CIS Operators affected by inbound roaming fraud from subscribers of a Philippine Network, without the need for costly and time consuming litigation.
2007
Captus establishes partnership with UK based Receivables Management Company, enabling expansion of service offerings. By end year Captus has worked with over 15 Mobile Operators and secured the collection of over €45 million in overdue roaming receivables since its inception.
2005
Lands a contract to collect €5 million in overdue Roaming debt on behalf of Tier one Danish operator. 96% of debt book collected within 6 months. Operator subsequently outsources entire roaming ledger management to Captus and asks Captus to engage with their financial clearing house directly and on all related matters.
2004
Company established in London as Captus Financial Solutions. Secures first roaming collection project from Tier one Austrian Operator. By year end Captus employs 4 people.

With experience from all entities involved in bringing inter-operator services to market such as Carriers, Operators, Data Clearing Houses, Financial Clearing Houses, Data Analytics vendors, Billing vendors, Collection Agencies and not least Consulting practices, our Management fully understands the financial accounting side of the inter-operator telecoms industry, with a special focus on the debt aspects.
Our Management has personally managed deals with over 300 Tier 1 and Tier 2 Telecom Service Providers and not least discussed the industry with an even larger number over the last decade. They possess an in-depth knowledge of inter-operator services and all the related processes and few industry leaders has financially had as big an impact to the telecoms space as they have. They have also previously founded a number of thriving companies in the industry, targeting optimization of complex and inefficient processes.
MacAllan & Berg has under the guidance of our Management successfully assisted nearly 100 Mobile Operators and dozens of other Telecom Service Providers in collecting their debt and establishing best practices to ensure such issues does not reoccur.
